The “Bunk House,” which was used as housing for ranch hands back when the ranch was primarily a livestock operation, has been remodeled throughout recent years to better serve as a hunting lodge. The Bunk House currently consists of 6 new beds split between 2 rooms, an updated kitchen, two full bathrooms with hot water, open living/dining area with satellite TV, central heat and air, and outdoor campfire/cooking area. Laundry and additional bathrooms are available in other buildings at the ranch headquarters. A walk-in cooler, skinning rack, ice machine, and processing room are located on the property to provide proper game care for every hunter. The ranch manager typically provides all game care for hunters. Meals will not be provided, but all amenities for cooking and food storage are provided in the lodge.
Contact UsBooking is done on a first-come, first-serve basis, with the option to re-book for future hunts. A non-refundable deposit is required in order to book, which must be paid within 30 days of the hunt. After 30 days prior to the hunt date, Rust Ranch reserves the right to cancel your hunt.
Rust Ranch’s number one priority is to ensure hunter safety on every hunt. No loaded weapons will be permitted in the lodge, or in the vehicles providing transportation. Children will be required to sit with an adult at all times during the hunt. Hunters will not be permitted to roam about the ranch without the ranch manager being present. Hunters are expected to have basic knowledge of gun safety, and ethical hunting practices. Upon arriving to the ranch, all hunters and guests will first be briefed on safety and expectations, and required to sign a liability release. Following the briefing, all firearms and archery equipment must be shot at the provided range to ensure they are sighted in and in safe working condition prior to being used to hunt with. Hunters and guests are expected to treat the property and facilities with respect as if they were your own.
Alcohol will not be provided by the ranch, and is not permitted until a hunter is done hunting for the day. If a hunter or guest partakes in drinking before the hunting day is over, that person will not be permitted to leave the premises of the lodge to hunt, or join another hunter. Rust Ranch, its owner and manager, reserve the right to ask that any person that becomes unruly, aggressive, or unsafe due to alcohol consumption or any other unsafe behavior, be removed from the property with no refund of hunt price.
